Fear not the night. Or dead batteries. When you’re kilometres from the nearest store, it’s good to know your own power can light up the night. The lantern has a wind-up system that uses a highly efficient alternator to convert human mechanical energy into stored power. The handle turns in either direction so you can alternate muscles or accommodate southpaws. With the right adaptor, this hand-cranked lantern can also juice up your phone.
