A patented design from Grivel, the Up/Down ascender is a standard ascender that has a built-in belay plate that can be used for descending. Great for big walls, alpine climbs, or for cleaning and projecting routes. The design allows a quick and safe transition that allows you to quickly bail down the line if conditions require.
- Configured for left and right, this is the right hand version
- Works with 8.3-13mm ropes as an ascender, or 7.3-13mm when used for descending
